Coming Home

Things I love about coming home:

1.      Having the kids clean up their rooms in anticipation of my return.

2.      Being back in my own bed.

3.      Coffee.

4.      My rocking chair (particularly knitting in it).

  

5.      Ordinary moments of my home life.



Things I hate about coming home:

1.      Unpacking.

2.      Doing laundry.

3.      The kids fighting pretty much immediately upon my return.

4.      Discovering unfinished (or messy) things I left behind.

5.      Discovering scary food in the fridge.
