Into the Woods (She was right...again)

Anya has been bothering us to go for a walk in the woods for a couple of weeks now.  We finally managed to get there for a little while today. She was right, as usual.  We need to walk in the woods, more often and for longer.  There is no better celebration of fall than this.

  1. So not like the Sondheim musical?

    1. Um, no. Did you see that one? I never seem to make it to theater...should I blame the kids, even though it's not their fault at all? (Isn't that why I had them?)

  2. That so funny! Danny returned from Fla this weekend and he wanted to go for a walk in the woods as well. It is comforting and brings you back to the earth.

    1. Loved your pictures! These kids, they know what they're doing sometimes.

  3. We flee to the woods as a cure-all. Especially now that we get to enjoy beautiful autumn in NC!

    1. Spring! Good to hear from you! I'll have to check in at your blog to see how you are doing. Autumn must last longer/be gentler in NC. But I am a New Englander through and through, and love that raw November air...

    1. Absolutely right! You always seem to get that about Anya. Your Hannah (same name, different versions, interesting) was quite similar from what you've said! My girl has instincts like no one else I've ever known--versus my boy, who is always second-guessing things...
